Davos chalet

Nice quiet and secluded property with an amazing view. There’s a fun game room with ping pong, darts, and more. There’s also kitchens available for personal use. The whole place was very clean as well. We met the owner who was working on renovating the place. He was very friendly, and I wish him the best of luck in bringing this place back to life. It feels like a little piece of Switzerland.

This place is amazing. On the hill, communal fridge and game room. Checkin is smooth and rooms are very secure. It is literally on the ski hill!!

Awesome place! If we are ever in the area again, I would go back. So quiet, beautiful view of the lake. In the winter, you are basically on the ski slope. Would be a great place for a big family get away. Has a game room, bikes and kayaks to use, fire pit with all the s'more supplies. Friendly owner, meet him as we were getting ready to leave. Visited for a while. They are working on some remodeling and making changes. But didn't affect our stay. They are slowly putting A/C in all of the rooms, 1 or 2 of the floors are done. But it is used mostly for skiing, would like to be used more year around. I liked that you could bring your own food and use the kitchen. Very helpful for those with dietary issues.

This was an incredible stop for the night. We were touring fall colors in Western U.P. and headed towards the Apostle Islands. The fall colors were peak, sunrise in the horizon from the balcony with coffee. For having a Bed & Breakfast/Group Stay feel, it felt very safe and cozy. We would definitely come back.

I came up to snowboard the fresh snow and stayed here for the night. IT WAS INCREDIBLE! I booked room 20, at the very top floor all by myself! ( I had no idea what i was doing while booking, almost every room was available, I just picked #20) in basically had the whole building to myself, wandering around in this mansion, I felt like Richie Rich! bro it was awesome....

Absolutely love this place! Tons of charm and character. Bedrooms are small but adequate. Bed is a bit firm. In room bathrooms are quite small but there are common area bathrooms as well. Phenomenal game area, common area & kitchen to share with friends and family. Lots of extras like smores, puzzles, comfy furniture, snacks, etc. Felt like home. The drive here is beautiful. Every season has something to offer & I imagine fall provides a blaze of color. Tons of waterfalls nearby and of course skiing in winter.

I wasn't sure what to expect given the Chalet's remote location. It ended up being perfect. It's an easy day trip to Bayfield and the Apostle Islands and an easy day trip into Michigan's UP (Lake of the Clouds, Black River, etc.). The setting by Weber Lake is perfect. The autumn leaves were changing color, but this place would be great in the winter time as well. The hosts have put thoughtful touches everywhere including a full smores kit (that's right, no need to bring the ingredients!). There are cozy spaces all over, plenty of couches and sofas and balconies on which to relax. We loved the air hockey, darts and ping-pong in the basement. The kitchens are well-stocked. I even found cinnamon in one of them. Finally, the place is so cute; it really feels like an updated Swiss chalet. Don't hesitate to stay here!
